As Drum Casket moves, travels, relocates, I have a lot of curiosity. It is the range of people and perspectives and places that inspired the tour. While Drum Casket is not the kind of project or experience that seeks a fan base- it does become richer with broader perspectives. I am anxious to process and learn from how things, ideas, people, places change and/or reveal themselves as similar. After so much thought and hard work, collaboration and consideration, doubt and excitement- it seems that one of the most important responsibilities I have now is to be patient with understanding, open to the unknown, and dedicated to something that has taken a balance of accountability and authority and collaboration and relinquishing control.
